So I haven’t been able to find any Oscar nominated shorts available online so I thought I would throw one of the more clever animated shorts I have found in a while as this weeks short film. “(Notes on) Biology”, made by Ornana Films, is very similar to Oscar nominated “Fresh Guacamole” in that it is stop motion for much of the short until the notes begin to take on a life of their own in the guise of a robot elephant. Very clever, and very fun. I hope you give it a watch.
