Short Film Fridays: The Return: Vincenzo Natali’s Darknet

Welcome to the return of Short Film Fridays! It has been a long time since we had one of these and today we are celebrating it with Vincenzo Natali, the director of Cube and the incredibly weird Splice, with his entry in the Canadian horror anthology Darknet. Each of these Darknet ‘episodes’ will be self-contained so although technically not a short film, I feel it fits enough of the parameters of a short to meet this columns standards. Now apparently these episodes will appear on Canadian TV at some point (when, I do not know), but for now, enjoy the first of the Darknet episodes courtesy of Vimeo. Also, it is awesome to see David Hewlett (Cube, Stargate: Atlantis) still working with Natali. This is a relationship that just keeps on giving!

Enjoy
