It is early in the New Year and we already have some amazing new tracks that warrant being highlighted for their amazing composition. The opening month of 2015 has brought us some long time indie stalwarts like The Decemberists and Sleater-Kinny, as well as many new and sophomore artists. The following playlist has 30 tracks and represents a pretty diverse range of music. Great hip hop tracks from Joey Bada$$ and Doomtree as well as ambiance-driven electronic music from artists like Purity Ring, not to mention some cool new punk and folk/singer-songwriter artists, have brought us an excellent month of music.
