It’s beginning to feel a lot like Award Season! With the Grammy nominations taking place earlier this week, today we have officially received the Hollywood Foreign Press’ Golden Globe nominations for film and television. I am happy to see Room getting so much love in the nominations, and how awesome is it to see Mad Max in contention for best Drama, though where is Charlize Theron’s nomination for best actress (or maybe they would call that a supporting actress role – either way… bullshit!)???

Also, the Golden Globes continue their strange labelling tradition between comedies and dramas. What is The Martian doing in the Comedy category?

On the television side, I am so happy to see Mr. Robot up there! That show is quite frankly the best new show this year so I am happy to see it receive some much needed accolades.
